“Those who are healthy do not need a physician, but the sick do.
I have not come to call the righteous to repentance but sinners.” (Luke 5:31-32)

In the beginning was the Word,
and the Word was with God,
and the Word was God.
(John 1:1)

And the Word became flesh,
and made his dwelling among us,
and we saw his glory,
the glory as of the Father's only Son,
full of grace and truth.
(John 1:14)

The Word'Jesus'in Hebrew
means 'Deliverer, Savior, Redemeer'.
It signifies that the very name of
God is present in the name of His Son,
who was made man for the definitive
redemption of mankind from sins.
It is the divine name that alone
brings salvation, and henceforth
 all can invoke His name,
for Jesus united Himself
to all men through His Incarnation,

"There is no salvation through anyone else,
nor is there any other name
under heaven given to the human race
by which we are to be saved."
(Acts 4:12)

The Holy name of Jesus
is thus the shortest,
the most sweetest and
the most powerful prayer.
 Our Lord himself promises
that whatever we ask
the Father in His Name,
we shall receive.
(John 14:13; 16:23)
